1. Basic Policy

At Roger's English School, our fundamental policy is continuous weekly study to improve your English skills. The 4-Lesson Course is based on the premise of taking lessons "once a week for 4 weeks," and for our long-term courses, we offer discounts as a reward for those who study continuously.

For students who have irregular availability due to busy schedules, we offer a “ticket-based” system at a 25% higher cost (See item 8 below for details).

"While basically expecting regular weekly attendance, we will flexibly accommodate working adults within a reasonable range so they can continue without difficulty." This is the basic policy of our school.

2. Courses and Fees

Includes discounts for longer terms of study.

  • General English (40 min)

    • 4 Lessons: 16,000 yen

    • 12 Lessons: 46,000 yen (Save 2,000 yen)

    • 24 Lessons: 92,000 yen (Save 4,000 yen)

  • Business English (50 min)

    • 4 Lessons: 20,000 yen

    • 12 Lessons: 58,000 yen (Save 2,000 yen)

    • 24 Lessons: 116,000 yen (Save 4,000 yen)

  • Exam Preparation (50 min)

    • 4 Lessons: 24,000 yen

    • 12 Lessons: 70,000 yen (Save 2,000 yen)

    • 24 Lessons: 140,000 yen (Save 4,000 yen)

 

  • 4-Lesson Course (Basic Course)

    • Validity Period: 4 weeks

    • Take lessons on a fixed day and time every week.

  • 12-Lesson Course

    • 1 lesson per week.

    • Take lessons on a fixed day and time every week.

    • Validity Period: 12 weeks

    • A discount of 2,000 yen will be applied.

  • 24-Lesson Course

    • 1 lesson per week.

    • Take lessons on a fixed day and time every week.

    • Validity Period: 24 weeks

    • A discount of 4,000 yen will be applied.

3. Cancellations

 

  1. Cancellations up to 24 hours before the lesson starts:

    • If you contact us up to 24 hours before the lesson starts, you may take a make-up lesson free of charge.

    • There is no limit to the number of times.

    • Make-up lessons will be held during the school's available time slots. Please take the make-up lesson during the period between the canceled lesson and the following two lessons. Make-up lessons not taken within this period will expire.

  2. Cancellations within 24 hours of the lesson in any lesson course:

    • One lesson will be deducted.

 

4. Make-up Lessons

 

Make-up lessons are subject to the following principles:

  • They will be held during the school's available time slots.

  • Please take them between the date of the canceled lesson and the following two lessons.

 

5. Continuous Enrollment and Reservation Slots

 

  • The 4-Lesson Course is fundamentally for continuous weekly enrollment.

  • The start date for your next course after completing the current one can be discussed to suit your schedule.

  • Fixed-day and fixed-time reservation slots are secured with priority for students who continue their enrollment.

 

6. General English Course (40 min)

 

Covers the following content:

  • The focus is on improving your speaking and listening skills in communication-based lessons with a native-speaker.

  • A variety of materials are used to suit each individual student.

  • Students may also choose to focus some of their time on reading, writing, vocabulary development, and grammar.

  • Students may also study Eiken Level 5 to Level 2 equivalent; Interview preparation (focusing on vocabulary and grammar); and may study using past exam questions and other materials.

 

7. Exam Preparation Course (50 min)

 

Please take the Exam Preparation Course for content that requires individual preparation and correction, such as:

  • Eiken Pre-1 and Level 1

  • IELTS and TOEFL preparation (including Writing test and summary-writing guidance)

  • Creation of personalized study plans to suit your needs

 

8. Ticket-based System

 

  • For students who have irregular availability to attend lessons from week-to-week, we offer a ticket-based system at a 25% higher cost.

  • Basically, this allows students to purchase 4 lessons of any length or type, and use these four lessons within an 8-week period.

  • There are no extra cancellation charges or administration charges.

  • However, we still recommend attending as regularly as possible in order to make steady improvement, and we cannot guarantee that the student’s most desired time-slot will be open.

  • Priority for reserving time-slots is given to students who attend at the same time each week.

 

9. Leave of Absence System

 

If it is difficult to take lessons for a certain period due to unavoidable circumstances, you may use the leave of absence system.

  • Examples of Eligible Situations:

    • Long-term business trips / Overseas assignments

    • Hospitalization / recuperation

    • Childbirth / childcare

    • Certification exams / busy periods at work

    • Other circumstances approved by the school

  • Rules:

    • A leave of absence requires prior application and school approval.

    • Maximum Duration: 2 months (up to once a year).

    • Lesson validity periods will be paused.

    • Fixed reservation slots will not be retained. Upon resumption, we will offer you the available days and times.

    • Please contact us with your resumption date before the end of your leave of absence.

    • If you do not resume within 3 months after the end of your leave of absence, your remaining lessons will expire.

 

10. Long-Term Vacations

 

Students taking the 12-Lesson or 24-Lesson Courses can pause their lesson schedule for a total of up to 2 weeks per year for long vacations such as Golden Week, Obon, and the New Year holidays, provided they contact us at least 14 days in advance.

Note: Please note that the school's designated closed days are not included in the validity period.

 

11. Cancellations by the Instructor

 

If a lesson cannot be held due to the instructor's illness, sudden illness, or other unavoidable circumstances:

  • The lesson will not be deducted.

  • The lesson validity period will be extended accordingly.

 

12. Cancellations due to Weather, Disasters, etc.

 

If lessons cannot be held due to unavoidable circumstances such as typhoons, earthquakes, infectious diseases, or power outages, we will handle this through make-up lessons or rescheduling.

 

13. Changing to Online Lessons

 

If it is difficult to take an in-person lesson, it may be possible to switch to an online lesson depending on the situation.

 

14. Refunds

 

Due to the nature of securing lesson slots, as a general rule, we do not offer refunds for tuition fees paid. Please confirm the lesson schedule and course content before applying.

 

15. Resuming After Course Completion

 

  • Once all lessons have been taken, the course is completed. If you wish to resume, you can do so by applying for a new course.

  • Please note that fixed reservation slots are prioritized for continuous students, so upon resuming, we will offer you the available days and times.

  • The admission fee upon resuming is based on separate school regulations.

 

16. Lateness

 

  • If you are going to be late for the lesson start time, please contact us in advance as much as possible.

  • If you are more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, it will be treated as a same-day cancellation (one lesson deducted).

  • Even if you arrive or enter the room late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time and cannot be extended.

  • In the event of unavoidable circumstances such as public transportation delays or accidents, we will respond according to the situation.

These terms and conditions are established to provide a fair and comfortable learning environment for all students. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.

ロジャーズ・イングリッシュ・スクールでは、英語力を向上させるための基本方針として「毎週継続して学習すること」を掲げています。4回レッスンコースは「4週間で週1回」受講することを前提としており、長期コースでは継続して学習される方への還元として割引を提供しています。

お忙しくスケジュールが不定期な生徒様には、通常価格より25%増の「チケット制」をご用意しています（詳細は以下の項目8を参照）。

「原則として毎週の定期受講をお願いしつつも、社会人の皆様が無理なく継続できるよう、合理的な範囲で柔軟に対応する」 ことが当スクールの基本方針です。

3. キャンセル

  1. レッスン開始24時間前までのキャンセル：

    • レッスン開始の24時間前までにご連絡いただいた場合、無料で振替レッスンをご受講いただけます。

    • 回数制限はありません。

    • 振替レッスンはスクールの空き時間枠にて行われます。キャンセルしたレッスンからその後2回のレッスン期間内に振替レッスンをご受講ください。この期間内に受講されなかった振替レッスンは無効となります。

  2. 全コース共通・レッスン開始前24時間以内のキャンセル：

    • 1回分のレッスンが消化されます。

4. 振替レッスン

振替レッスンは以下の原則に従います：

  • スクールの空き時間枠にて行われます。

  • キャンセルしたレッスンの日程からその後2回のレッスン期間内にご受講ください。

5. 継続受講と予約枠

  • 4回レッスンコースは、原則として毎週の継続受講を前提としています。

  • 現在のコース終了後、次のコースの受講開始日についてはスケジュールに合わせてご相談いただけます。

  • 受講を継続される生徒様には、固定曜日・固定時間帯の予約枠を優先的に確保いたします。

6. 日常英会話コース（40分）

以下の内容を網羅しています：

  • ネイティブ講師とのコミュニケーションを中心としたレッスンで、スピーキングおよびリスニング力の向上に重点を置きます。

  • 一人ひとりの生徒様に合わせた多様な教材を使用します。

  • リーディング、ライティング、語彙力の強化、文法などに時間を充てることも可能です。

  • 英検5級から2級相当の学習、面接対策（語彙・文法重視）、過去問やその他教材を使った学習も可能です。

7. 資格・試験対策コース（50分）

以下のような、個別での準備や添削が必要な内容については、資格・試験対策コースをご受講ください：

  • 英検準1級・1級

  • ライティングテストや要約指導を含むIELTSおよびTOEFL対策

  • ニーズに合わせた個別の学習計画の作成

 

8. チケット制

  • 毎週定期的に通うことが困難な生徒様向けに、通常価格より25%増のチケット制をご用意しています。

  • 基本的に、時間やタイプを問わず4回分のレッスンを購入し、8週間の有効期限内にその4回分を使用できます。

  • 追加のキャンセル料や事務手数料はかかりません。

  • ただし、着実な上達のためには可能な限り定期的に受講することをお勧めします。また、ご希望の時間枠が必ず空いている保証はありません。

  • 時間枠の予約優先権は、毎週同じ時間帯に通われる生徒様に与えられます。

9. 休学制度

やむを得ない事情により一定期間レッスン受講が困難な場合は、休学制度をご利用いただけます。

  • 対象事例：

    • 長期出張 / 海外赴任

    • 入院・療養

    • 出産・育児

    • 資格試験 / 仕事の繁忙期

    • その他スクールが承認した事情

  • 休学ルール：

    • 休学には事前のお申し込みとスクールの承認が必要です。

    • 期間・回数： 最大2ヶ月間（年に1回まで）。

    • レッスンの有効期限は一時停止されます。

    • 固定の予約枠は保持されません。再開時には、その時点で空いている曜日・時間帯をご案内いたします。

    • 休学期間終了前に再開希望日をご連絡ください。

    • 休学終了後3ヶ月以内に再開されない場合、残りのレッスンは無効（失効）となります。

10. 長期休暇

12回または24回レッスンコースをご受講の生徒様は、ゴールデンウィーク、お盆、年末年始などの長期休暇において、少なくとも14日前までに事前にご連絡いただければ、年間合計最大2週間までレッスン日程を一時停止することができます。

※スクールの指定休校日は有効期限に含まれません。

11. 講師都合による休講

講師の体調不良、急病、その他やむを得ない事情によりレッスンが休講となった場合：

  • レッスンは消化されません。

  • 休講分に応じてレッスンの有効期限が延長されます。

12. 悪天候・災害等による休講

台風、地震、感染症、停電などのやむを得ない事情によりレッスンが実施できない場合は、振替レッスンまたはスケジュールの変更にて対応いたします。

13. オンラインレッスンへの変更

対面でのレッスン受講が困難な場合、状況に応じてオンラインレッスンへ切り替えることが可能です。

14. 返金について

レッスン枠確保の都合上、原則としてお支払いいただいた受講料の返金はいたしかねます。お申し込み前にレッスン日程およびコース内容をご確認ください。

15. コース終了後の再開について

  • すべてのレッスンを消化した時点で、コースは修了となります。再開をご希望の場合は、新たにコースをお申し込みいただくことで受講可能です。

  • 固定予約枠は継続受講の生徒様が優先されるため、再開時はその時点で空いている曜日・時間帯をご案内いたします。

  • 再開時の入会金等についてはスクールの別規定に基づきます。

16. 遅刻について

  • レッスン開始時間に遅れる場合は、可能な限り事前連絡をお願いいたします。

  • 事前連絡なく15分以上遅刻された場合は、当日キャンセル（レッスン1回分消化）扱いとなります。

  • 遅れて到着・入室された場合でも、レッスンは予定通りの時間に終了し、時間を延長することはできません。

  • 公共交通機関の遅延や事故など、やむを得ない事情の場合は状況に応じて対応いたします。

本利用規約は、すべての生徒様に公平で快適な学習環境を提供するために定められています。皆様のご理解とご協力をお願い申し上げます。
